Caregiver Well-Being

You care for someone you love. There is room here to care for you, too.

Making room for your well-being

Caregiver well-being means making room for your own feelings, energy, rest, relationships, and everyday needs alongside caring for your loved one. Some days may bring joy and connection; others may feel exhausting, uncertain, or overwhelming. You do not have to feel positive all the time or have everything figured out.

This space is an invitation to pause and notice how you are doing, not a measure of how well you are caring for someone else. Use the check-in to capture how today feels, or go straight to the journal to put your thoughts into words. You can use either tool on its own, whenever it feels useful. There is no daily requirement or goal to meet.

Start with a check-in, if you like

Review all four sliders and adjust them to match how you feel today, then select “Save check-in.” Higher numbers mean things feel harder. Your saved check-ins let you look back at earlier reflections. The reflection total is a personal prompt, not a diagnosis or a mental-health assessment.

Entries stay in this browser on this device, are not monitored, and do not sync. Anyone using this browser can read them. Clearing browser data or closing a private-browsing session may erase them.

A moment to check in

There are no right or wrong answers. Higher numbers mean things feel harder today. Sliders start at 5; review or adjust all four to reflect how you feel.

How the reflection total works

The four answers add up to 0–40. Support suggestions are always available below. A total of 24 or above, or any one answer of 8 or above, changes the message to emphasize extra support. These are app-defined prompts, not validated medical thresholds or a mental-health screening test. No score can diagnose a condition or establish that someone is safe.

Saved check-ins (0)

No check-ins yet. Your first saved reflection will appear here.

Your personal journal

A space for the hard moments, the small joys, or anything on your mind. You can write without completing a check-in. Your words are not analyzed or used to calculate scores.

There is no right way to journal. A few words, a list, or a longer reflection are all welcome. You might write about a moment you want to remember, something that felt difficult, what helped you get through today, or support you would like to ask for. Share only what you feel comfortable keeping in this browser.

How to use your journal

  1. Add a title if you want one, or leave it blank.
  2. Write in “Your reflection.” If you are not sure where to start, try “Today I am feeling…” or “One thing I need right now is…”
  3. Select “Save journal entry” before leaving the page, and wait for the saved confirmation. Your writing is not saved automatically as you type.
  4. Look under “Saved reflections” to revisit your entries in this same browser on this device. Write again whenever you choose; there is no need to journal every day.

Saved reflections

No reflections yet. Start with a sentence, if that feels right today.
